Inside the caves...

So yesterday me, Make up artist: Emily Cutts, and models Bethany and Emma drove down to Cheddar Gorge for a cave inspired fashion shoot that we had been organising for months and months now.

It was amazing, it was so quiet because it was mid week during the day, and we were able to get some amazing shots. I'm so pleased, here are some shots that I didn't share late last night.

Throwback Tuesday

I have so many exciting photoshoots lined up and I can't wait to share all the photographs. I haven't done a fashion and make up shoot for ages now and I'm missing my team, Emily & Emma. Can't wait to be working with them again over the next few weeks, watch this space. Many more photographs will be posted soon :)

These are some of my favourite photographs for a reflective kind of blog post. :)

Bunny Pumpkin Boutique

At the start of February, I took on a challenge of photographing some marketing material for a handmade shoe designer - www.bunnypumpkinboutique.com.
Go go go if you haven't already and check out her shoes - they are amazing!! & then make sure you get back here on my blog and read this post :)

I have been so busy with New York, and then when I got home I had a chest infection for two weeks and it was my birthday so I have been neglecting posting the complete finished and edited photographs for you guys for ages now. But I wanted to make sure they would be perfect :) I am so happy with the results, the theme was 'retro pin up girl with a modern twist.'

I did post some of the originals the day of the shoot but these are my favourite edited selection.

Hope you like them :)

Vintage Photoshoot

For one of my university projects, I have to recreate a vintage smoking advertisement. I choose to re-create a vintage smoking ad from the 1940's/50's.

I managed to get access into the STEAM museum in Swindon & use the vintage Buffet Car as the location.
I'm really pleased with the photographs & am SO SO excited for my retro pin up photo shoot next Saturday, so watch this space for those photographs :-)

Megan Razey is the glamourous model featured in this photos, she is a photographer too. Check out her blog - www.meganrazeyphotography.blogspot.co.uk  :-)

Designer Handbag Photo Shoot

This past week has been so exciting!! Me & my friend from college were approached by an new & upcoming handbag designer to take some photographs of her products for her website.

I haven't been able to post anything until after showing her the photo's, but I have shown her now & she is so pleased so I am now able to share them with all my lovely bloggers.

We choose to shoot in two locations, studio & at Lydiard House Gardens.

These are the best selections of photographs from the studio shoot. Models are a friend from my college class, Laura & Miss Wiltshire 2014, Nicole.

Laura is a photographer too, check out her blog - http://laurajaynewardphotos.blogspot.co.uk

Street Photography

While in Rome, I tried out some street photography too for my weekly university task. Street photography isn't my strongest point but I experimented with it anyway & here are some of the results...

Portfolio Decisions

As Christmas is fast approaching, it's not just the lists of presents that I have left to buy that is on my mind, it's also the fact that My End of Year Show is going to be here before I know it in May next year and I have to get a portfolio together.

I have a old portfolio from my A level photography course but the photographs are old and no where near a good enough standard for a portfolio.

The hardest part about it is deciding on just what images that I want to include. Also then comes what I want to present it in (book/folder/digital) and what sizes, but I pretty much already know that I want to present at A3 size because they are big and bold enough to stand out.

Here are some of my photographs that I consider my best and the ones that will be definite candidates for my portfolio.
