I'm back!!

So last night, I wiped the dust from my camera lens which had been hiding under my bed for a few months (Rubbish photographer award goes to me!) and finally I did a photo shoot with the amazing Emily Cutts (MUA) & Bethany Beats Smith (Model) which was a summer pool party inspired fashion shoot.

Had loads of giggles and fun with these two which resulted in some beautiful photographs. I am very pleased and happy to be shooting again after some time off so watch this space for lots more photos & some new shoots coming up soon! :)

Tim Burton Inspired

On Friday, I had the fantastic opportunity to photograph the media make up artist's Tim Burton Assessment and it was amazing. There is so much thought and creativity that goes into each individual look and the girls are so very talented. :)

Here are some photographs of Tim Burton inspired Surgeon by the amazing Emily Cutts

Inside the caves...

So yesterday me, Make up artist: Emily Cutts, and models Bethany and Emma drove down to Cheddar Gorge for a cave inspired fashion shoot that we had been organising for months and months now.

It was amazing, it was so quiet because it was mid week during the day, and we were able to get some amazing shots. I'm so pleased, here are some shots that I didn't share late last night.

I have so many exciting photoshoots lined up and I can't wait to share all the photographs. I haven't done a fashion and make up shoot for ages now and I'm missing my team, Emily & Emma. Can't wait to be working with them again over the next few weeks, watch this space. Many more photographs will be posted soon :)

These are some of my favourite photographs for a reflective kind of blog post. :)

Magic Photography

Since NYC, I have been running slightly behind on the weekly digital imaging tasks that I've been set at uni. There are two outstanding, these are magic or fire photography & food photography.

So yesterday, I tried out my own idea for 'magic' photography. I had seen this idea on Pinterest and loads of blogs for months and couldn't wait to give it a go myself. I made my own 'DIY Glow Stick Jar.'

All you need is a glass mason jar with a sealable lid, variety of glowsticks, glitter, scissors, LOADS OF NEWSPAPER, and some kitchen roll for any spillages. :)

Make sure the jars are clean, then using the scissors cut the end of the glow stick so all the liquid pours out & add the glitter. Close the lid, and shake it about so you make sure all the solution is covering the whole jar.

Then turn off the lights and TAA DAA! You have amazing, light up glow stick jars that look so cool!!! They only last about 1 - 2 hours so make sure you are ready to start shooting pretty much straight away.

I hope you like the images, feel free to comment and let me know what you think :)
